Peachtree Planning is a boutique event services firm with experience managing events of every size and style. Our portfolio spans weddings, corporate gatherings, galas, and charitable celebrations. We intentionally take on a limited number of clients each year so we can give each one our full attention, walking beside them through every detail to ensure their vision comes to life and exceeds expectations.

Meet the Team

Mary Dee Beal
Co-founder

I’m originally from Statesboro, Georgia, and I’ve called Washington, D.C. home for the past 13 years. Like many others, a job on Capitol Hill first brought me to the city, and today I work as a lobbyist. From 2020 to 2021, I served as Chairman of Taste of the South, where leading through the pandemic taught me how to stay calm under pressure and adapt to any challenge. Snail mail is my favorite way to keep in touch with friends and family, and a dry gin martini with a twist is my go-to. I love events because they allow me to bring a vision to life from start to finish.

Maggie Newton
Co-founder

Born and raised in Atlanta, I’ve called Washington, D.C. home for nearly 15 years. After starting my career on Capitol Hill, I now work full-time in the energy utility industry. Outside of work, I’m happiest with a glass of rosé by the water, surrounded by friends or off exploring new destinations. Whether it’s ringing in the New Year in Paris or sneaking away for a family beach trip, I’m always up for an adventure. I also have a true passion for event planning—a love that began during my time on the Taste of the South board and grew while co-chairing two of Georgia’s Presidential Inaugural Peachtree Balls.
